Russian Players Fight for the WCCC Medals in Brazil

On August 30, round 10 of the World Cadets Championship was played in Pocos de Caldas, Brazil. Abhimanya Mishra (USA) maintains leadership in the U8 open group with 8.5 points. The Russian Savva Vetokhin is sharing 2-3 places with 8 points. Alserkal Rouda Essa (UAE) is the sole leader in the same age group - 8.5 points. Elizaveta Kanter has got 5 points. 

Zhou Liran (USA) is leading the U10 open group with 8.5 points. Leonid Lystsov has got 6.5 points. Wei Yaqing (China) is heading the race in the girls' U10 group with 8 points. Galina Mikheeva has scored 7 points to share the 4th place. Alexandra Shvedova has got 5 points.

Justin Wang (USA) grabbed the lead in the U12 open group - 8 points. Volodar Murzin and Martin Stukan are sharing the 2nd place with 7.5 points. Ilya Makoveev has scored 5.5 points. Divya Deshmukh (India) is heading the girls' group of the same age - 9 points. Galina Mironenko has scored 5 points.

The final round will be played on August 31.
