Round 4 of the World Schools Championship Played
December 7 is a rest day.
The Russians are in the lead in most age groups at the World Schools Championship in Sochi.Under 7: Olesya Fedorova and Anna Bryukhanova have 3 out of 4 among girls, Leonid Efimov has 3.5/4 among boys.
Under 9: Galina Mikheeva leads with 4/4 among girls, sharing the first place with a player from China. Gordey Kolesov and Vladislav Kochetov have perfect score among boys and will play each other in the round 5.
Under 11: Ilya Makoveev is a sole leader of the event. Maria Yakimova, Margarita Gaer, and Margarita Zvereva have 3.5/4 in the girls section.
Under 13: Ruslan Murtazin, Grigory Ter-Saakyan, Ilya Abramov, Genrikh Roigelzer, Artyom Babekyan, Leonid Kretov all have 3 points. Sofia Bandurina leads in the girls event with 4 points.
Under 15: Oleg Bykov is at second place with 3.5 points. Anna Kochukova and Adriana Sakorenko are among the chasers of the Indian leader A. Harshini.
Under 17: Dmitry Cherednichenko is a co-leader with 3.5 points among boys. Alexandra Dimitrova leads in the girls section.
The morning before round 4 was dedicated to a blitz tournament. Nordibek Abdusattorov (Uzbekistan) won with 6.5/7, his compartiot Nordibek Yakkuboyev and Ozen Bahadir (Turkey) were left behind on the tie-break.
December 7 is a rest day. Rounds 5 and 6 will be played on December 8.
