Round 2 of Russian Team Championships Completed in Sochi
There are four leaders in the Premier League.
On 2 May, the second round of the Russian Team Championships was played in the Grand Hotel "Zhemchuzhina" in Sochi. Before the start, the participants paid respect to the memory of a chess organiser and philanthropist Maksim Shusharin (1966-2023), who was buried in Moscow on this day.
The Minister of Physical Culture and Sports of the Sverdlovsk region Leonid Rapoport was a guest of honour. He greeted the players and invited them to take part in new tournaments in the Sverdlovsk region.
