RIP Tatiana Zatulovskaya (1935-2017)

On July 2, a Merited Master of Sport of the USSR, WGM Tatiana Zatulovskaya (8.12.1935 - 02.07.2017) has passed away at the age of 81. 

Winner and prize-winner of many international tournaments. Twofold Olympic champion as a member of the USSR national team (1963 and 1966). A Merited Master of Sport of the USSR since 1967. Fivefold champion of the All-Union Voluntary Sports Society Burevestnik. During many years, Tatiana Zatulovskaya was fighting for the world chess crown. 

In 2000, she emigrated to Israel, which she represented at the 2002 Chess Olympiad. In 1993, she won the Women's Seniors World Championship with 10 out of 11 points (10 wins, 0 losses, and 2 draws). In 1997, she became again the World Champion among senior women.
