University and Siberia are leading in the Premier League

Boavista and SDYUSSHOR SHSH are ahead in the women's event.

In the second round of the Russian Premier League (Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi) Siberia defeated Bronze Hourseman 3.5-2.5. Vladimir Kramnik won against Peter Svidler, and other five games were drawn.

In the women's championship SDYUSSHOR SHSH (St. Petersburg) rather surprisingly defeated SHSM (Moscow) 2.5-1.5: Anastasia Bodnaruk defeated Alexandra Kosteniuk, Alina Balayan won against Alina Kashlinskaya. Evgenia Ovod lost to Valentina Gunina, Ekaterina Kovalevskaya drew with Dina Belenkaya. 

Other matches: University – Ugra 2-2, Boavista – Donchanka 3-1, Grozny – Kuban 4-0, Glek Academy – Kazan 2-2.
