Penultimate Round of China-Russia Match Played in Qinhuangdao
Both Russian teams win 3-2.
On May 31, the fourth round of the classical part of the China-Russia Match was played in Qinhuangdao.
The Russian men's team won 3-2 (Sanan Sjugirov and Kirill Alekseenko won, Maxim Matlakov and Alexey Sarana made draws, while Andrey Esipenko lost).
After four rounds, the score is 11-9 in favor of the Russian team.
The Russian women's team also won 3-2 (Valentina Gunina and Aleksandra Goryachkina won, Natalija Pogonina and Olga Girya made draws, Polina Shuvalova lost).
The Russian team won the match with one round to go (the score is 13.5-6.5).
