Krishnan Sasikiran Maintains Leadership at Main Tournament of Aeroflot Open

The sixth round of the "A' tournament of the 17th International Chess Festival "Aeroflot Open 2019" was played in Cosmos Hotel on February 24. 

The Indian grandmaster Krishnan Sasikiran lost his first half a point having made a draw with Amin Tabalabaei from Iran but is confidently leading the pack with 5.5 points out of 6.

Maksim Chigaev (Russia), Kaido Kulaots (Estonia), Amin Tabalabaei (Iran), Wei Yi (China), and Haik Martirosyan (Armenia) are one point behind. 

Stanislav Bogdanovich (Ukraine) is leading the "B" group with 6 points out of 6.  

The leaders of the "C" tournament are Balgan Bayarmandakh, Sumiya Chinguun (both from Mongolia), Timofey Iljin (Ukraine), and Artur Gharagyozyan (Armenia) - all of them have got 5 points out of 6.
