Kings Defeat Princes in Classical Chess

The double-round rapid part is to follow.

On December 23, Vladimir Dvorkovich Chess Saloon hosted the final round of the classical part of the Nutcracker generation tournament. It ended in a tie, 4-4 (2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw). Boris Gelfand defeated Mikhail Antipov, Vladislav Artemiev defeated Evgeny Najer, Grigory Oparin drew with Peter Leko, and Alexander Morozevich drew with Ivan Bukavshin. 

The final score of the classical part is 18-14 in Kings' favor.

The match between Boys and Girls ended with the 17-15 score in favor of Girls. 

The Nutcracker continues on the next two days with a double-round rapid event, 15'+10'' time control, with 1 points awarded for a win and 0.5 point for a draw.
