Ian Nepomniachtchi Pulls Ahead at Airthings Masters

The final rounds of the Prelims are ahead.


Rounds 5-8 of the Airthings Masters, the first event of the 2022 Meltwater Champions Chess Tour, were played on Chess24. Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia) has pulled ahead by scoring 19 points (there are 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw). Ding Liren (China) and Eric Hansen (Canada) are 4 points behind. Andrey Esipenko (Russia) is in fourth place with 14 points.
