Ian Nepomniachtchi is Unbeaten at FIDE Candidates Tournament

The FIDE Candidates Tournament has finished in the Spanish capital. In the final 14th round, Ian Nepomniachtchi, who had won the event in advance, made a draw with Jan-Krzysztof Duda. The Russian grandmaster scored 9.5 points out of 14 without a single loss. 

Ding Liren bested Hikaru Nakamura in the fight for second place. Teimour Radjabov won against Richard Rapport as Black, while Alireza Firouzja outplayed Fabiano Caruana also with the black pieces.
