Ian Nepomniachtchi Beats Jan-Krzysztof Duda in Madrid

Round 6 of the FIDE Candidates Tournament is completed.

The sixth round of the FIDE Candidates Tournament was played in Madrid. Ian Nepomniachtchi', who had White against Jan-Krzysztof Duda, managed to surprise his opponent in the opening and gradually got a sizeable edge. The Polish grandmaster resigned on the 35th move. Fabiano Caruana outplayed Alireza Firouzja with the black pieces, while the games Radjabov - Rapport and Nakamura - Ding were drawn.
