Fourth Round of Russian Youth Championship Is Over in Sochi

The parents' meeting was held.


The fourth round of the Russian Youth Championships among boys and girls under 11 and 13 years old has been completed in the AquaLoo resort in Sochi. The parents' meeting headed by the Chairperson of the CFR Youth Commission Andrey Beletsky, grandmaster Konstantin Chernyshov, and the international master and arbiter Alexey Moskvin was held as well. The coaches spoke about their schools: the CFR grandmaster centre in Kostroma and Young champions in Yaroslavl. The CFR supervisor Dmitry Feofanov answered the questions of those present.

Standings after Round 4:

Girls U11:

Taisiya Kovalenko, Eliza Tereschenko, Kristina Zavivaeva, and Alina Berezovskaya have scored 3.5 points each.

Open U11:

Fedor Antipov won all the games; Ruslan Gadzhiev and Adrian Sanches-Shananin are half a point behind.

Girls U13:

Victoria Merkulova has got 4 points out of 4. Oksana Goriachkina, Diana Preobrazhenskaya, and Varvara Kuzmina are trailing by half a point.

Open U13:

Taimaz Temirbekov is leading the race with a perfect score. Artem Lebedev, Stanislav Bukreev, and Nikolay Tregubenko have got 3.5 points each.
