First Games of Lindores Abbey Rapid Challenge Played on Chess24.com

The Lindores Abbey Rapid Challenge, the second event of the Magnus Carlsen Chess Tour, started on Chess24.com. Four rounds were played on the first match day. 

Magnus Carlsen (Norway), Sergey Karjakin (Russia), Hikaru Nakamura and Wesley So (both from the USA) are leading the race with 3 points our of 4. The Russian started the event with a defeated from Hikaru Nakamura but then won against Yu Yangyi, Wei Yi and Jan-Krzysztof Duda.  

Standings after Round 4:

1-4. Magnus Carlsen, Sergey Karjakin, Hikaru Nakamura, Wesly So - 3 points
5. Ding Liren - 2.5
6-7. Alexander Grischuk, Levon Aronian - 2
8. Yu Yangyi - 1.5
9-12. Wei Yi, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Daniil Dubov, Alireza Firouzja - 1.

Round 5 pairings:

Ding Liren - Grischuk, Nakamura - Aronian, Yu Yangyi - Carlsen, Wei Yi - Firouzja, Duda - Dubov, So - Karjakin.
