European Online Youth Championship Starts on September 18

The European Online Youth Individual and Team Chess Championship among boys and girls under 12, 14, 16, and 18 years old is held on September 18-20.  
 
Each team consists of at least 4 and maximum 12 players in each category (boys and girls). 
 
The event will be played according to the Swiss System in 9 rounds, with time control: 25 minutes + 5 seconds per player.
 
The best 4 collective results (one player per category with the highest score) decide the team winners in the open and girls’ sections. 

The winners in each category are declared the European online champions 2020in their age group.
 
All the players compete from the approved tournament halls in their countries. The tournament halls are selected and installed by federations and local organisers. The venues shall be camera monitored and connected with local Arbiters’ Pc/laptop and central Arbiters Panel. The playing venues shall be observed by local FIDE-licensed arbiters who shall be able to communicate in the English language. 
 
The Russian participants will play from the arranged and approved venues in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, and Nizhny Novgorod.
