Chess Players Invited to Igor Kurnosov Memorial in Chelyabinsk
Tournament to be held on September 6-9.
The Igor Kurnosov Memorial will be held in Chelyabinsk on September 6-9. The tournament in memory of the Ural grandmaster is one of the strongest stages of the Russian Rapid Grand Prix. Vladislav Artemiev, Dmitry Andreikin, Maksim Chigaev, Dmitry Kokarev, Aleksei Pridorozhni, Igor Lysyj, Sergei Yudin, Pavel Maletin, Dmitry Bocharov, Daniil Yuffa, Vadim Zvjaginsev and other strong chess players have registered in the event so far.
Before the Igor Kurnosov Memorial, the Russian Championship Superfinal will be held in Satka and then Chelyabinsk Oblast will host a rapid tournament in Asha and a stage of the Russian Women's Cup in Satka.
