Levon Aronian Wins Sinquefield Cup

Veselin Topalov leads the Grand Chess Tour before the last event.

In the concluding round of the Sinquefield Cup Hikaru Nakamura defeated Alexander Grischuk, and all other games were drawn. This, Levon Aronian made a spectacular comeback after a number of mediocre results, winning the St. Louis supertournament a full point ahead of the competition!

After two events of the Grand Chess Tour series Veselin Topalov leads the overall standings with 17 points, Hikaru Nakamura is second with 16 points, Levon Aronian jumped to the third place with 15 points. 

The last tournament of the series will be played in London on December 3-13.
