You have done a lot for chess development in our country and in the whole world - firstly, heading the Russian Chess Federation for many years and then as FIDE President. Under your guidance, many high-level competitions have been organised and chess has reached new heights in its development.
I wish you good health, energy, and new successes in your responsible position. I hope the International Chess Federation headed by you will continue its work staying out of politics under the Gens Una Sumus slogan.
