Russian Team Championships in classical chess among men, women, seniors, boys (under 15), and girls (under 15) are played on April 30 - May 11, 2017, in Grand Hotel Zhemchuzhina, Sochi.
All events are a 9-round Swiss with one rest day.
Team composition: 6 boards, 2 reserves in men's Premier League; 4 boards, 1 reserve in men's Higher League; 4 boards, 1 reserve in women's tournament; 4 boards, 1 reserve in junior events; 4 boards, 2 reserves in the senior event.
Prize fund of the Premier League - 1,000,000 roubles. Prize fund of the Higher league - 400,000 roubles. Prize fund of the women's championship - 600,000 roubles, of the senior championship - 200,000 roubles, of each junior championship - 150,000 roubles.
The winner and the runner-up of the Higher League promote to the Premier League 2018.
