Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Alisher Sultanov Visits the Central Chess Club in Moscow

Andrey Filatov shows the honored guest round the RCF Chess Museum. 

On 23 November 2017, the Central Chess House was visited by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and President of the country’s National Olympic Committee Alisher Sultanov. He was taken on an excursion round the historic chess house and Russia’s first chess museum, with its unique collection of over 4,000 artefacts, by President of the Russian Chess Federation and Head Coach of the Russia men’s national chess team Andrey Filatov. 

Alisher Sultanov, who headed Uzbekistan’s Chess Federation from December 2013 to February 2017, was acquainted with the activities of the Russian Chess Federation.
