Three Quarterfinalists of FIDE World Cup Determined in Tbilisi
Russians are going to play tie-breaks.
On September 13, the return games of the 1/8 of the FIDE World Cup were played in Tbilisi. Vassily Ivanchuk defeated Anish Giri (1.5-0.5), Ding Liren won against Wang Hao (1.5-0.5), while Levon Aronian bested Daniil Dubov (1.5-0.5).
Maxim Rodshtein won back in his match with Vladimir Fedoseev, and they are going to play additional games.
On September 14, Svidler - Bu Xiangzhi, Vachier-Lagrave - Grischuk, So - Jobava, and Rapport - Najer will play tie-breaks as well.
