Round 2 of Russian Cup Finals Starts in Khanty-Mansiysk

In the first round of the men’s Russian Cup quarterfinals Evgeny Sveshnikov defeated Savely Golubov, Dmitry Gordievsky outplayed Semen Lomasov, the games Alekseenko - Kokarev and Jakovenko - Paravyan were drawn.In the women’s event, Baira Kovanova bested Sandugach Shaydullina, while the game Belenkaya - Tomilova ended in a draw.
The return games will be played on December 8, at 10 a.m. (Moscow time). The tie-breaks will be played, if the score is equal.
