In the second day, Director General of FIDE Emil Sutovsky gave an interview to the Festival's press service in which he announced, in particular, that the agreement with the World Chess had been terminated as far as the next Candidates Tournament and the World Championship Match are concerned. FIDE will have control over the next Candidates Tournament and the World Championship Match. Meanwhile, the World Chess will organize the Grand Prix series for 2019 and 2021 together with FIDE.
