Polina Shuvalova Wins Sixth Game in a Row at World Youth Championships

Six games played in Greece.

The sixth round of the World Youth Championships among boys and girls under 14, 16, and 18 years old was played in Greece on October 24. 

The Russian Polina Shuvalova keeps leading the U18 girls' tournament with a perfect score. In the sixth round, she defeated her compatriot Alexandra Obolentseva. Shuvalova is 1.5 points ahead of her pursuers including Obolentseva and Anna Afonasieva. Aleksandra Dimitrova has scored 4 points. 

In the U18 open tournament, the leaders are Lucas van Foreest (Netherlands), Luca Moroni (Italy), and Viktor Gazik (Slovakia) with 5 points. Alexandr Triapishko, Timur Fakhrutdinov and Alexey Sarana are half a point behind. 

Jovana Srdanovic (Serbia) is leading the pack in the U16 girls' event with 5.5 points. Aleksandra Maltsevskaya is trailing by half a point, while Elizaveta Solozhenkina and Ekaterina Goltseva are 1 point behind.

In the U16 open event, Shant Sargsyan (Armenia) is maintaining the leadership with 5.5 points. Andrey Esipenko has scored 5 points. 
 
In the girls' tournament, Ning Kaiyu (China) is heading the race with 5.5 points. Leya Garifullina is trailing by half a point. Kamilla Baiburina and Eva Stepanyan have scored 4.5 points. 

In the U14 open group, the leader is Jose Gabriel Cardoso (Columbia) won the sixth game in a row. Dmitry Tsoi has got 5 points, while Stefan Pogosyan is 1.5 points behind the leader.
