Moscow Team Wins VIII Summer Spartakiad of the Pupils of Russia
Chess tournament finished in Taganrog.
A chess tournament, held within the framework of VIII Summer Spartakiad of the Pupils of Russia, finished in Taganrog. 15 qualified youth teams took part in the final event.The winner is Moscow youth team which won all the matches and defeated the Republic of Tatarstan team in the final match. Semen Lomasov, Stefan Pogosyan, Polina Shuvalova and Alexandra Obolentseva are the members of the winning team.
Tatarstan is second. Its players are Vsevolod Ovchinnikov, Ruslan Murtazin, Anastasia Kozina and Kamaliya Bulatova.
Saint Petersburg defeated Sverdlovsk Oblast in the bronze medal match. Sergei Lobanov, Kirill Shubin, Maria Petrochenko and Anastasia Golovkina played for the St. Petersburg team.
