Mongolian Players Take the Lead in Belaya Ladya Final Tournament

Guests win 2.5-1.5 in Russia - India match.


The fifth round of the 50th Belaya Ladya final was played in Dagomys on June 6. The teams from Mongolia crushed the schoolchildren from the Sverdlovsk region 3.5-0.5 to take the sole lead with 16.5 points out of 20. The team from Saint Petersburg is half a point behind, while the Belarusian team has scored 15 points. The Mongolian team only won all five matches. 



Pairings and results

A match between school teams of Russia and India is being played as part of the event. It is a two-format contest in standard and blitz chess. A team is made up of two boys and two girls born in 2005 and later. The Indian team won 2.5-1.5 in the fifth round. The score is 10.5-9.5 in favour of the Russian chess players.

The teams are to play 3 more rounds in classical chess and 8 blitz rounds. 



Pairings and results
