Magnus Carlsen Starts GRENKE Chess Classic with Victory

The first round of the GRENKE Chess Classic was played in Karlsruhe on April 20. Magnus Carlsen outplayed Vincent Keymer, while the games Meier - Vallejo Pons, Aronian - Naiditsch, Svidler - Caruana, and Vachier-Lagrave - Anand were drawn.
