Kinel-Cherkassy Hosts Russian Championship Among Village Schoolchildren
182 young chess players are taking part in the event.
The first round games of the All-Russian individual and team chess competition among schoolchildren living in a rural area were played in Samara Oblast. 112 players are taking part in the open section, and 70 participants are fighting for the prizes in the girls’ event. The tournament is taking place from September 27 (arrival) to October 4 (departure) in Kolos sanatorium, Kinel-Cherkassy, Samara Oblast.
