IMSA Elite Mind Games Take Place in China

The IMSA Elite Mind Games are being held on December 9-16 in Huai’an City, Jiangsu Province, China. The chess program includes rapid, blitz, and Basque tournaments. 

On December 11, the rapid event finished. Dmitry Andreikin (Russia) took the first place with 4.5 points out of 7. Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan, 2nd place) and Le Quang Liem (Vietnam, 3rd place) scored 4.5/7 as well but they have got inferior tie-breaks.

4-5. Ding Liren, Wang Hao - 4 
6. Anton Korobov - 3.5
7-10. Pentala Harikrishna, Yu Yangyi, Vassily Ivanchuk, Alexander Grischuk - 3 
11-12. Vladislav Artemiev, Rauf Mamedov - 2.5. 

In the women’s section five players socred 4.5 points out of 7: Antoaneta Stefanova (Bulgaria, 1st place), Anna Muzychuk (Ukraine, 2nd place), Mariya Muzychuk (Ukraine, 3rd place), Kateryna Lagno (Russia, 4th place), and Anna Ushenina (Ukraine, 5th place).

6. Harika Dronavalli - 4

Blitz tournament will be held on December 12-13.
