Hikaru Nakamura and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov Share First Place in Saint Louis Rapid

On August 13th, the final three rounds of the GCT stage were played in Saint Louis.
In the final day of rapid, Hikaru Nakamura and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov won two games and made one draw each to share 1-2 places with 12 points (rapid games count double, with 2 points for a win and 1 for a draw). Fabiano Caruana, who was leading through much of the event, is third with 11 points.

The participants will play a double round-robin blitz tournament. The games start at 9 p.m. (Moscow time).
