Head of Udmurtia Alexander Brechalov Visits Central Chess Club

Development of chess in the Republic was discussed with Andrey Filatov.

On November 30, the Central Chess Club in Moscow was visited by the Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov. The honored guest discussed the issue of development of chess in the Republic with President of the Russian Chess Federation and Head Coach of the Russia men’s national chess team Andrey Filatov. The RCF Executive Director Mark Glukhovsky took part in the meeting as well. A cooperation agreement between the Government of the Udmurt Republic and the Russian Chess Federation is being drawn up at the present day. 

Alexander Brechalov was acquainted with a unique collection of the first Russian Chess Museum, items of the 12th World Champion Anatoly Karpov’s exposition, and Boris Dolmatovsky’s photo-exhibition.
