Dmitry Kokarev Wins Alekhine Memorial

The tournament finishes in Voronezh. 


Grandmaster Dmitry Kokarev (Russia) won the fourth stage of the Russian Cup in Voronezh - Alekhine Memorial with 7 points out of 9. Andrey Stukopin, Dmitry Bocharov, and Nikita Matinian (all from Russia) also scored 7 points but finished on 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively due to the inferior tie-break. Javokhir Sindarov (Uzbekistan), Artyom Timofeev (Russia), Sergei Tiviakov (Netherlands), Maksim Chigaev, Ilia Iljiushenok, and Dmitry Kryakvin (all from Russia).

Ivan Provotorov showed the best result among local chess players. Elizaveta Solozhenkina became the strongest among women and gained her first WGM norm.
