Best World Blitz Players Arrive in Moscow
Cup of the Group of Companies REGION starts on March 1

On 1 March, a traditional blitz tournament Cup of the Group of Companies REGION will be played in the Cosmos Hotel, Moscow. The prize fund is $20,000.
Many stars of blitz such as Sergey Karjakin, Hikaru Nakamura, Vladislav Artemiev, Dmitry Andreikin, Ian Nepomniatchci, Tigran L. Petrosian, Boris Gelfand, Anton Korobov, Zaven Andriasian, Shakhriyar Mamedyarov, Santosh Vidit, Gata Kamsky, Sanan Sjugirov, Boris Savchenko, Maxim Matlakov, Rauf Mamedov, Vladimir Fedoseev, Andrey Esipenko, Sergei Zhigalko and many other well-known chess players will play a 9 double-round robin event.
