Vladimir Belous Wins Vladimir Dvorkovich Memorial

IM Pavel Kotenko is second, Tigran Nazaretyan is third.

Grandmaster Vladimir Belous (2566) won the 10th Vladimir Dvorkovich Memorial with 7 out of 9. Six players scored 6.5 points. IM Pavel Kotenko (2362) had the best tie-break score and took the second place, candidate master Tigran Nazaretyan (2268) took the third. The second grandmaster played in the event, GM Gennady Matjushin (2435), finished fifth.

Viktor Zhukov (2040) was best among the seniors with 5 points, Vadim Gunchenko (2142) with 6 points showed the best result among juniors.

The closing ceremony of the event was attended by Galina Lvovna Dvorkovich, Yury Balakhnin, Minister of Sports of Rostov Region, Vladimir Prasolov, Taganrog Mayor, Yury Stefanov, Chairman of the City Duma, Sergey Nesterov, Rostov Region Chess Federation President, and Ivan Savvidi, member of the Russian President's Council in interethnic affairs.

Galina Lvovna Dvorkovich also attended the closing of the children's art exhibition "Wonderful world of chess". Young artists and their teachers received diplomas and letters of gratitude from Edicational Office and Chess Federation of Taganrog.
