Altai Krai Championship Finishes in Barnaul
Aleksey Sorokin and Daria Anufrienko take first places.
Aleksey Sorokin and Daria Anufrienko won the Altai Krai Championships for the second year in a row. Sorokin scored 7.5 points out of 9, while Anufrienko got 8 points. In the open tournament, Evgeny Kardashevsky is second with 6.5 points, while Yurii Razgovorov took bronze medal with 6 points.
A 10-year-old Vladimir Yusupkhodzhaev had an excellent debut in the tournament. He scored 5/9 to become the 8th.
In the women’s event, Kristina Degtyareva became second with 7.5 points. Irina Unzhakova is third with 6 points.
Tournament on Chess-Results
On October 21, a regional Day of Chess will be held in Altai Krai. The program will be quite vast and will include elections of President of the Altai Krai Chess Federation and members of the Board for the next two years.
